Recently I got the opportunity to travel to London and assist Thembi Mkandla (represented by Creatives Agency) and work on Miss Pap’s new Valentines collection, featuring bloggers Sarah Ashcroft, Imogen Hudson and Holly boon.
I was really excited to be assisting Thembi on this shoot. Thembi is represented by Creatives agency and has worked with many celebrities including Rebecca Ferguson and Alexandra Burke.
The shoot was set in a stunning house in Central London and the makeup look for the shoot was inspired by the likes of Kendal Jenner combined with the bloggers own makeup style. The result was glam makeup perfect to wear this Valentines!
The shoot involved all the outfits from Miss Pap’s new range, and they created images as well as videos of the girls. You can see me and Thembi Mkandla in action on Sarah Ashcroft’s latest vlog – getting the girls ready for the shoot with makeup, hair styling and tanning!
Sarah Ashcroft’s makeup look was very much inspired by her own signature style and included a nude matte lip! Rimmel London instant tan was mixed with moisturiser along with oil on highlight areas to give her a glow! To curl Sarah’s hair, we used the Babyliss curling wand to create bouncy waves.
For Imogen Hudson’s look peachy tones were used. Thembi used Topshop’s Shuffle The Cards eyeshadow on Imogen which looked amazing and made her blue eyes pop! To create volume in Imogen’s hair, ProBlo brushes were used and we then backcombed her hair to keep the volume in place all day!
Holly Boon is a makeup artist and so she created her signature look on herself for this shoot. We straightened her long hair and pulled it back off her face for an effortless glam look.
