Semi Permanent eyebrows

It all started when…

As a makeup artist, I am used to drawing in brows for clients, choosing suitable colours and offering advice on what suits their face shape. With the increased popularity of semi-permanent makeup, I found clients kept asking me if this was a service I offered. Because of this, I decided to train with the brilliant Olivia Naylor in digital machine hair stroke brows and microblading.

The digital machine method is done with a single needle, they will last approximately 3-4 years. This method allows for a longer lasting natural result. Unlike microblading, this technique is suitable for everyone, including those with oily skin or more mature skin.

The microblading method is done with a blade and lasts around 1-2 years. This method is a manual way of implanting pigment, creating slightly finer hair strokes but does not last as along as the single needle machine. Microblading is not recommended for mature or very delicate skin, textured skins from wrinkles or extremely large pores, skins which are extremely pale, skins which have a very rosy/red tone and extremely oily skin or those with an oily T-zone.
